Air Covers Ltd has been honoured with the King’s Award for Enterprise in the category of International Trade — the most prestigious business award in the United Kingdom.
HM King Charles III approved the award on 6 May 2026.
Each year, only a small proportion of applicants are successful following a rigorous and highly competitive selection process, which includes detailed scrutiny of commercial performance, sustained growth, and global impact. In 2026, only 76 UK companies will be presented with the award by The King.
“This award is an incredible honour for our outstanding team. It reflects the quality of our suppliers, product development and innovation with customers and the support from the Business Wales Export Team,” said John Pattinson, Managing Director and founder of Air Covers, “As a small company rooted in Wrexham, receiving recognition at this level is hugely motivating. It validates the hard work we’ve put into growing our international presence and reinforces our drive to continue supplying and developing products that reduce our customers’ engineering burden.”
The King’s Award emblem is a mark of excellence that signals credibility, trust, and achievement to partners, customers, and stakeholders around the world. It also opens new opportunities for growth, collaboration, and export development.
