How long does it take to receive my order?
Lead times vary depending on the cover type and demand. Standard orders typically ship within 4-6 weeks.
What is your warranty policy?
We have a 5 year warranty that covers sunlight, mildew and atmospheric chemicals.
Do you offer repairs or refurbishment for covers?
Yes, we provide repair and refurbishment services for our covers to replace straps, buckles, Velcro, and more. In addition, we also provide professional cleaning to keep your covers in optimal condition.
What currency are your prices listed in, and what forms of currency do you take?
Products are quoted in GBP and payment is taken in GBP. Payment can be made by card over the phone or by BACS, SWIFT, BIC transfer.
Do you make covers for one-off, experimental, or prototype aircraft?
Yes, we’ve worked with OEM’s, defence agencies, expeditionary teams and private individuals to create bespoke covers. Please contact us to discuss how we can protect yours.
How should I clean and store my covers?
Covers should be hand-washed with mild soap and air-dried, ensuring there is no debris. Store them in a dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.
Should the aircraft be clean before fitting the covers?
Yes - Air Covers products are lined with ripstop parachute fabric to ensure no particles of dirt or salt are trapped in fibres (as happens with a flock lining). However we always advise that covers are fitted to a dirt-free aircraft.
Do the covers come with storage bags?
Yes, our covers come with compact, protective storage bags for easy transport and storage.
Do I need tools to secure the covers?
Aside from our tie-down tool used for reaching the helicopter blades, tools are not required. We use shock cord, Velcro, acetal plastic buckles and secure straps to ensure your covers fit close and tight to the aircraft. We do not use metal fittings.
Are the covers waterproof?
Yes – our covers are waterproof and breathable. Breathability mitigates against heatsink.
What do Air Covers protect against?
Air Covers protect against ice, sand, heat, humidity, UV, salt, debris, hail, and FOD.
